Commissioning is not about operating the machines, but about proving that the plant delivers the promised values. That's why it is done sequentially and registered.

- Mechanical control: alignment, connection, direction of rotation, safety equipment.
- Idle start: vibration, warm-up, volume control.
- Balancing of suction and pneumatic lines.
- Automation tests: sensor, alarm, interlock scenarios.
- Loaded trial: gradual wheat delivery, flow balancing.
- Setting optimization: fine-tuning of roller, sieve and purifier settings according to the target.
- Acceptance test: measurement of target capacity, efficiency and ash values over a specified period of time.
Things to save
At each step, the date, person who performed it, measured value and deviation are written. This record is both the basis of the acceptance document and engineering data for subsequent projects.
Write the terms of the acceptance test clearly in the contract: which wheat, how many hours, which measurement method. The test of unconditional acceptance turns into endless debate.
